This role requires associates to work out of a MVH North America hub location – Vancouver, WA | Santa Monica, CA | Tampa, FL | New York City, NY.
Why This Role Matters:
The Global Finance Transformation Program Lead will play a pivotal role in overseeing and driving the successful execution and governance of MVH’s global finance Integration and Harmonization (I&H) work and transformation program.
Acting as the Transformation Project Management Office (PMO), this role is responsible for program governance, project integration, stakeholder alignment, and delivery excellence within the overall Finance Integration & Harmonization transformation initiative.
This senior leadership role will ensure the complex, multi-year transformation initiatives are executed effectively by partnering across Mars Global Services Finance (MGSF), Operating Business Units, and third-party implementation partners. The role will not be responsible for designing the transformation strategy; instead, the focus will be on program management, coordination, and delivery assurance — ensuring global consistency, governance, and successful execution and achievement of transformation objectives on time and on budget.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, experienced program and project leader, and finance professional who can connect business objectives with execution discipline, ensuring the transformation delivers measurable value and sustainable outcomes. The position is designed as a two-three-year transformation assignment with the first two years focusing specifically on Finance Integration & Harmonization (I&H) Transformation initiative.
You Will:
Program Leadership and Delivery Oversight
- Business Manager of chosen 3rd party blueprinting & implementation partners with direct management delivery against the agreed upon state of work
- Own the end-to-end program management and execution of the global finance I&H transformation initiative, ensuring timely delivery across multiple, complex workstreams including process, systems, data, and organizational change.
- Drive alignment and seamless coordination among Mars Global Services Finance (MGSF), MVH North America, Operating Units, MVHE Operating Units, and third-party implementation partners.
- Co-develop with external partners and accountable for maintaining robust governance structures, delivery frameworks, and risk management processes to ensure program milestones, dependencies, and quality standards are met.
- Continuously monitor program progress and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain momentum and delivery excellence.
- Provide strategic guidance and influence to NA and Europe transformation team & leads, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes accountability and shared ownership of outcomes.
Governance and Executive Reporting
- Act as the primary interface between transformation teams and executive leadership, ensuring transparent communication, governance discipline, and informed decision-making.
- Prepare and present comprehensive Steering Committee updates, executive dashboards, and performance reports that clearly articulate program status, risks, and benefits realization.
- Oversee program financials, including budget management, cost control, and tracking of benefit realization metrics to ensure fiscal responsibility and value delivery.
- Champion the consistent application of PMO standards, tools, and best practices across all program workstreams to drive operational rigor.
Stakeholder and Partner Management
- Build and nurture strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across finance, operations, IT, and commercial functions to secure alignment and support.
- Serve as the central coordination hub between internal teams and external partners and consultants, ensuring contractual commitments and quality expectations are met.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and proactive issue resolution to mitigate risks and remove barriers to program success.
- Advocate for stakeholder needs and ensure their engagement throughout the transformation lifecycle.
Change Enablement and Business Readiness
- Collaborate closely change and communication resources (Internal and External) to support the development and execution of change management and communication strategies that drive adoption and readiness.
- Co-create effective tools such as communication plans, readiness assessment, and risk mitigation actions
- Ensure business units and stakeholders are prepared for key program milestones, through effective communication and engagement.
- Promote operational stability post-implementation by overseeing knowledge transfer, handover processes, and ongoing support mechanisms.
Your Experience Should Include:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline (or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities); MBA preferred.
- Preferred: Recognized project or program management certification (PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
- 10+ years of experience in finance transformation, program management, or large-scale ERP/GBS implementation in a multinational organization.
- Strong understanding of finance processes (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, FP&A) and global operating models.
- Proven experience coordinating with GBS, consultants, and technology implementation partners (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
- Background in animal health, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or manufacturing industries preferred.
Salary Range: $185,640 - $290,063
Compensation is determined based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, and market competitiveness.

Special Working Considerations:
- Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
- Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.
- Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds.
- Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.
