Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Physician/Medical Director to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a permanent, full-time position where the successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients ages 3+. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to function effectively within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and continuous primary care to a diverse population of patients, including children and adults.
• Develop, implement, and monitor patient care plans and adjust as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform regular physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines.
• Diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions, referring patients to specialists as necessary.
• Direct and coordinate activities of nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
• Collaborate with other physicians, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to form a high performing medical team.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at improving patient care and healthcare delivery systems.
• Stay current with the latest developments in family medicine through continuous professional development and education.
• Serve as a role model and mentor to staff and medical students, fostering a culture of learning, respect, and compassion.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Family Medicine or related specialty.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, with proven leadership or management experience.
• Current, valid license to practice medicine in the state.
• Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on disease prevention and health promotion.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and healthcare IT systems.
• Commitment to adhering to the highest ethical standards and professional conduct.
