Director of Information Technology – Global Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and business-focused IT executive to lead enterprise technology across a global, multi-entity organization. This role is designed for a technology leader who can align infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems with long-term business growth and operational excellence.

As Director of Information Technology, you will shape and execute a multi-year technology roadmap while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. You will guide digital transformation initiatives, strengthen cybersecurity posture, and ensure scalable, secure, and resilient systems across international operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with organizational growth objectives.
  • Partner with executive leadership to translate business priorities into actionable technology initiatives.
  • Advise stakeholders on investment decisions, risk mitigation, and emerging technology trends.
  • Establish governance frameworks, policies, and standards that support scalability and compliance.
  • Provide oversight of global network and cloud environments, ensuring performance, availability, and security.
  • Lead administration of Microsoft O365 Enterprise and Cisco Meraki-based infrastructure.
  • Oversee ERP systems, including Deltek Costpoint or comparable project-based platforms.
  • Ensure business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and incident response readiness.
  • Balance enterprise standardization with regional operational and regulatory requirements.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Direct cybersecurity strategy, including prevention, monitoring, and response programs.
  • Support compliance initiatives within regulated or government-contracting environments.
  • Lead risk assessments and implement controls that strengthen organizational resilience.
  • Support CMMC readiness and ongoing compliance efforts where applicable.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing IT organization.
  • Manage technology vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation and performance oversight.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage operating and capital budgets.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on ROI, business value, and risk.
  • Optimize costs while maintaining high service standards and security posture.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including senior leadership roles.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, and ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership in complex environments.
  • Experience managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and global or multi-entity operations.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience supporting international subsidiaries and distributed teams.
  • Strong familiarity with:
  • Cisco Meraki networking environments
  • Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP systems
  • Experience with CMMC frameworks and regulated environments.
