Job Summary
The Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization. This role manages budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and compliance while supporting leadership in making strategic financial decisions that support the company’s growth and stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support company goals.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team.
- Work closely with executive leadership to support business planning and decision-making.
- Coordinate audits and maintain accurate financial records.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master’s degree (MBA) or CPA preferred.
- 7–10+ years of experience in finance or accounting leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience managing financial teams and operations.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with financial software and Microsoft Excel.
