Program Director of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

Brief Description

The Program Director of ABA Services will be responsible for the overall management and success of the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program. Lead a team that includes Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BABC) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). The role will guide the ABA team on best practices and ensure tools, processes, and standards are aligned with operational and industry excellence, and continue to evolve the team to deliver exceptional client service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees clinical operations, compliance, quality assurance and monitors data.
  • Performs intakes and assessments, develops treatment plans, trains parents/care givers, and supervises BCBA and RBT.
  • Develops a long-range plan to support rapid growth within the program and carries out the plan.
  • Provides leadership necessary to facilitate growth and improvement within the program.
  • Works with staff to assist in meeting goals, expectation and productivity standards.
  • Ensures that the program meets standards/guidelines for accreditation.
  • Monitors and updates policies, procedures and operational guidelines of the program to ensure compliance.
  • Educates agency programs and community resources about the program.
  • Responsible for general oversight of program functionality.
  • Responsible for onboarding of clinical staff in conjunction with Human Resources, by scheduling appropriate trainings and shadowing of other clinicians.
  • Facilitates communication between senior leadership and front line staff by attending leadership meetings and serving as a conduit for important information.
  • Manages the program budget ensuring that expenses remain within budget and revenue meets expectations.
  • Complies with federal, state and company policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information and complies with HIPAA regulations.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and supports Westbrook Health Services mission, vision, values, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards and code of ethical behavior.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in a human services field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD).
  • Possess certification as a BCBA by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  • Computer experience specifically using a computerized medical record.
  • Must pass criminal background check (WVCARES), WVDHHR Abuse and Neglect Registry check, as well as a post offer drug screen.
