Overview

The US Oncology Network is looking for a Senior Employee Relations Partner to join our team at Texas Oncology . This is a remote role that will report directly to the Employee Relations Manager for Texas Oncology and support the execution of the employment relations strategy for our practice. The role proactively addresses risk and issues, partnering with HR and leaders across Texas Oncology to ensure timely resolution of employee matters. It also includes auditing, policy updates, communications, and monitoring legal trends. Travel to the corporate offices in Dallas, TX, is required for a portion of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the employee relations strategy for Texas Oncology, ensuring consistent application of philosophy, practice, tools, and templates.
  • Provide expert guidance and conduct comprehensive investigations for employee relations issues, partnering with HR Business Partners, Practice Leadership, and the ER Manager for risk‑mitigated resolutions.
  • Oversee employee hotline inquiries; conduct investigations and document findings and case closures in collaboration with legal counsel as needed.
  • Serve as primary resource for ADA/ADAAA accommodation processes and partner with local HR representatives for consistent policy application.
  • Conduct Termination Review process for involuntary terminations, reviewing documentation and consulting with HR Partners and legal counsel as indicated.
  • Lead projects with Compliance, Learning and Development, Shared Services, and other functional areas; deliver training on investigations, progressive discipline, employee relations, and leadership coaching.
  • Work proactively with HR Business Partners and Practice Leadership to identify long‑term performance issues, facilitating action plans and performance improvement outcomes.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of employment law and legislation; produce ER metrics and analysis; act as subject‑matter expert for HR Partners and Practice Leaders.

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Five years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Three years of experience in Employee Relations.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.

  • Working knowledge of employment law, regulations, and current trends impacting employee relations.
  • Expertise in mitigating risk and handling escalation of employee relations matters.
  • Proficiency in employee relations investigations and documentation.
  • Experience with involuntary termination reviews.
  • Management of employee relations hotline inquiries.
  • Experience working within a large matrixed organizational structure.
  • Ability to influence practice leadership and HR within the healthcare industry.
