Inviting applications for the role of Director - Business Architect, Supply chain Management

In this role, you will serve as a Director and Business Architect, shaping high-impact supply chain planning transformations in the HMS industry. You’ll define future-state operating models, design scalable APS-enabled solutions, and ensure alignment between business strategy, process design, and technology capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Define and design target supply chain planning architectures leveraging Kinaxis or comparable APS solutions to maximize value for HMS clients.
  • Shape business capabilities, process models, and functional designs aligned with clients’ strategic objectives and industry best practices.
  • Partner with client executives and internal consulting teams to ensure strategic alignment and stakeholder buy-in for transformation roadmaps.
  • Translate complex business challenges into future-state APS-enabled planning models, ensuring scalability and adaptability.
  • Provide architectural oversight for solution configuration, data integration, and process enablement, ensuring alignment with HMS industry standards and compliance needs.
  • Facilitate executive workshops to co-create transformation vision, define key capabilities, and drive cross‑functional alignment across supply chain, operations, and finance.
  • Develop business case frameworks, benefit realization models, and capability maturity assessments to guide decision‑making.
  • Contribute to pre‑sales and business development by shaping solution approaches, proposals, and strategic client presentations.
  • Act as a mentor to consulting teams, building capability in business architecture methods, supply chain process design, and APS solution enablement.
  • Drive thought leadership and contribute to SCM practice development through frameworks, reference architectures, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of end‑to‑end supply chain planning processes (demand, supply, S&OP, inventory optimization).
  • Proven experience designing and architecting business capabilities and process models for APS‑enabled transformations (Kinaxis or comparable).
  • Strong understanding of HMS industry planning challenges, operational requirements, and best practices.
  • Ability to translate strategic goals into executable capability roadmaps and architectural designs.
  • Experience developing business cases, benefits frameworks, and transformation roadmaps for large‑scale programs.
  • Executive presence and the ability to engage, influence, and advise C‑suite stakeholders in global organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills with structured problem‑solving and conceptual design capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills; able to articulate complex architectural concepts with clarity.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across consulting, technical, and client teams to bridge business and technology perspectives.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and decisiveness in dynamic, high‑pressure delivery contexts.
  • Willingness and ability to travel or work in a hybrid/remote client‑facing environment as needed.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

  • Exposure to multiple APS platforms (e.g., Kinaxis, o9, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder).
  • Experience working in global high tech, manufacturing, or semiconductor industries subject to trade, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with digital supply chain trends, advanced analytics, and Generative/Agentic AI applications.
  • Recognized as a trusted advisor in supply chain strategy and architecture discussions.
  • Experience developing business architecture frameworks, maturity models, or capability reference maps.
  • Track record of contributing to practice innovation and go‑to‑market strategy.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is \\(152,000 to 230,000\). The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
