Habitat America is seeking an experienced and professional Tax Credit

Property Manager

to join our team in the Salisbury area. This full-time role is ideal for a motivated property management professional with a strong background in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) communities. The Community Manager serves as the face of the property, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and outstanding resident service. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering an exceptional living experience for residents while maintaining strong financial and operational performance. Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of a tax credit community while ensuring compliance with all applicable housing regulations. Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, and community partners. Manage leasing, occupancy, and resident relations to maintain a stable and thriving community. Review and analyze monthly operating statements, including budget-to-actual variances and cash flow performance. Prepare and submit accurate monthly financial reports and property performance reports in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations, including resident income certifications and re-certifications. Maintain accurate resident files and documentation in accordance with agency requirements. Supervise property staff and ensure operational standards are met. Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Tax Credit Property Manager or Community Manager. Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) certification or similar LIHTC certification strongly preferred. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while effectively following company policies and leadership direction. Experience with Yardi or similar property management software is a plus. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. Experience reviewing financial reports and managing property budgets. Knowledge of resident income certification and recertification processes in accordance with regulatory requirements. EOE.
