
Aimbridge Corporate - Staff Accountant-Corporate

As a key player in our corporate accounting team, as a Staff Accountant you'll dive into a variety of dynamic activities—processing accounts receivable, performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and leading month-end closing procedures that drive accurate financial statement preparation and insightful analysis. Your leadership ensures that every accounting detail is handled efficiently and in line with Aimbridge Hospitality’s high standards, making you an essential part of our financial excellence.
Key Skills & Responsibilities Financial Operations & Reporting
Prepare consolidated GAAP financial statements, supporting schedules, and variance analysis for management and the Board.
Calculate, post journal entries, and perform monthly closing duties as needed.
Revenue Recognition & Receivables Management
Review management fees and service agreements for accurate revenue recognition and process fee invoices promptly to accelerate receivables turnover.
Monitor, follow up on, and assess collectability of aged accounts receivable to support Treasury’s cash management.
Reconciliation & Audit Support
Review monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Support audit processes by preparing work papers, responding to auditor inquiries, and maintaining year‑end audit packages.
Collaboration & Communication
Collaborate with managers, accountants, and departments to ensure accurate accounting and timely processing of receivables and payables.
Coordinate with Treasury, Accounts Payable, and Central Accounting for reporting and account management.
Compliance, Policy & Special Projects
Maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and adhere to document management requirements.
Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned, including Treasury requests.
Education & Experience
Associate’s degree in accounting or finance required; bachelor’s preferred.
Experience in multi‑unit real estate or hospitality accounting is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; able to quickly learn new technologies.
Strong understanding of General Ledger and attention to detail; able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Effective written and oral communication skills; works independently and prioritizes tasks.
