With direction from office leadership, this role is responsible for district network office or network office recruitment efforts. This role will drive office recruiting plans, actions, and results. Critical competencies in this position include being interpersonally savvy, able to prioritize multiple high-level projects and deadlines, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a hunger for results.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Sourcing & Selection
Proactively source and headhunt for talented individuals that fit our ICP and open roles.
Strategically utilize both active and passive candidate streams, while maintaining urgency and accuracy through the selection process.
Own relationship, rapport building, and communication with candidates from initial conversation to onboarding.
Process ownership to include but not limited to screening candidates, conducting first interviews, administering screening tools, and connecting applicants with other direct reports/hiring managers.
Build and scale an effective 12-stream candidate funnel - utilizing both in-office resources and community partnerships.
Actively participate in community clubs and organizations that excite you to promote the office and company brand.
Coordinate advertising/marketing strategies related to office growth and brand engagement including social media, flyers, local events, etc.
Develop strategic partnerships with other Northwestern Mutual recruiters to learn and grow an environment of connectivity.
Accountability, Tracking, & Analysis
Document weekly recruiting activity and transparently communicate progress with leadership team.
Develop proficiency with software/tools to maintain candidate databases and accurate progress through the selection process.
Assist in the coordination of leadership team meetings and the preparation of activity/results reports
Analyze recruiting ratios to identify inefficiencies in selection process.
Take ownership over your role, establishing and implementing improvements to drive results.
Collaboration and oversight of candidates' progress through contracting/licensing/and onboarding.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of equivalent work experience
3+ years of professional work experience, preferably in sales, recruiting, finance, banking, HR or related field
Understanding of professional environment nuances and how to collaborate with a team
Strong network of personal/professional advocates or community involvement
Desire to lead through values and actions
High character
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU ALSO HAVE:
Experience in the financial services industry
Experience with prospecting; generating leads via phone or face-to-face interactions preferred
Familiarity or proficiency with sourcing platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, ProducifyX, Access Dubuque, and more)
