Description My client is seeking a Superintendent with substantial experience in the construction industry, particularly in commercial construction.

Project Oversight : Manage all interior construction activities from start to finish, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules.

Coordination : Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of interior phases.

Quality Control : Inspect work regularly to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and adherence to design details.

Scheduling : Develop and maintain detailed schedules for interior work, adjusting as needed to meet deadlines.

Safety Compliance : Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with OSHA and company standards.

Problem Solving : Address and resolve issues related to materials, design changes, or unforeseen site conditions promptly.

Documentation : Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and records of progress, inspections, and any changes.

Budget Management : Monitor costs for interior work and assist in controlling expenses to stay within budget.

Client Interaction : Communicate with clients and designers to ensure expectations are met and design intent is preserved.

Team Leadership : Supervise and guide interior crews, ensuring productivity and quality performance.

Profile

Experience : 5+ years in interior construction supervision, preferably in commercial or high-end residential projects.

Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of interior finishes, millwork, drywall, flooring, and MEP coordination.

Project Management Skills : Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance effectively.

Attention to Detail : Exceptional eye for quality and design intent, ensuring flawless execution of interior work.

Problem‑Solving Ability : Skilled at resolving on‑site challenges quickly and efficiently.

Communication Skills : Clear and professional communicator with clients, designers, and field teams.

Leadership : Ability to lead and motivate crews while maintaining a collaborative work environment.

Safety‑Oriented : Committed to enforcing safety standards and OSHA compliance.

Technology Proficiency : Familiar with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and digital plans.

Certifications : OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR; additional certifications in construction management are a plus.

Adaptability : Comfortable working in fast‑paced environments with changing priorities.
