About HYATT House - HYATT house is an extended-stay, residential-style hotel that aims to provide individual travelers with the feel of a modern condominium. The 137 room, all-suite property offers comforts of home such as fully equipped kitchens, flat panel HDTVs and free high-speed internet access. The public space features facilities such as a pool, a fitness center and a business center. A full breakfast every morning and a bar service in the evenings. HYATT house properties are located in urban, airport and suburban locations and can accommodate small corporate meetings and corporate clients seeking to place their employees on extended assignment. Sales Coordinator Job Overview – HYATT house - The Sales Coordinator assists the Director of Sales with sales operations including reserving meetings and conferences, coordinating wedding groups, general administrative functions, assembling reports and arranging sales blitzes and giveaways, maintaining guest/company profiles, etc. This position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE:
Respond to all incoming leads in a timely manner, distributing incoming leads accordingly to the sales team
Serve as the point of contact for clients, creating and processing proposals/contracts, booking flyers, processing billing, filing, etc.
Generate leads through networking and prospecting
Lead weekly internal meetings with management to discuss upcoming groups and events
Prepare sales reports and other related documents for Director of Sales
Meet with clients as needed and perform hotel site tours with potential clients
Responsible for group and meeting communication to all departments within hotel
Create and assist with collateral items needed for sales blitzes, promotions, brochures, etc.
Respond to guest/client complaints as neededOther duties assigned by Director of Sales or management
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to understand, execute and support customer service standards and applicable brand standards.
Ability to work collaboratively with hotel service team to provide exceptional customer service.
High school or GED or equivalent.
Experience in a hotel (specifically front desk or sales) or similar sales and marketing environment.
Strong computer skills related to account management (i.e. Delphi, Goldmine, Sales Forces.com).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
