SALES ANALYST INTERN The Sales Operations Intern will be responsible for supporting the team with long-term projects as well as daily tasks and duties. They will collaborate and communicate with cross-functional partners to meet the team's needs throughout the internship. The ideal applicant for this position is an individual who communicates clearly and effectively, displays a strong work ethic, and has a drive to learn.
Pay Rate: $17/hour
Location: Midtown Manhattan
Responsibilities
Assist in analyzing sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
Support the preparation of weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
Collaborate across sales and commercial teams on data-driven projects.
Help maintain dashboards and update key performance indicators (KPIs).
Conduct competitive analysis and market research as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Profile Seeking a degree in Business or a relevant field
Available to work 40 hours/week throughout the duration of the internship (Spring/Summer)
Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams. Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or SAP BI is a plus
Knowledge of luxury, fashion, retail specialty or wholesale environment preferred
Strong communication/interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
Ability to maintain a high standard of confidentiality
Can work independently and be a team player while maintaining a professional attitude
Ability to multi-task, prioritize/time-manage, and be highly detail-oriented
Legally authorized to work in the US before first day of employment
