
Regional Sales Representative

The Regional Sales Representative position is primarily responsible for marketing and selling Ashburn Industries, LLC’s products and services in the designated territory and expanding Ashburn’s market share through the development of new accounts and expanding business with current accounts in the Metalworking/Cutting Tools Industry.
RESPONSIBLITIES
Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients in offices and in the field.
Prepare marketing plans and schedules to identify specific targets and establish sales goals.
Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
Identify and resolve client concerns.
Prepare a variety of status reports, including itinerary, activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
Servicing customer jobs sites as required.
Meet sales goals and objectives assigned by management.
Other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
Follow-up for collection of payment.
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
Base salary plus commission
No cap on commission

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree preferred; engineering, business or industry related field experience preferred.
Background in machining, tooling, or manufacturing is highly valued.
3+ years of experience with metalworking/cutting tools or metalworking fluids.
Prior sales experience, ESPECIALLY in technical or industrial products, IS A PLUS.
Excellent computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
