Position Summary The Senior Service Sales Manager is responsible for developing, selling, and managing aftermarket startup, modernization, maintenance, testing, and service solutions for electrical power distribution and critical power infrastructure. This role focuses heavily on mission‑critical environments, including data centers, healthcare, industrial plants, and utilities.

The position requires a strong technical understanding of electrical power systems combined with consultative sales expertise to identify customer risks, lifecycle needs, and modernization opportunities across legacy and third‑party equipment.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Sales & Revenue Ownership Drive revenue growth through the sale of preventive maintenance, corrective service, testing, startup, commissioning, and modernization services.

Develop and execute territory sales plans targeting data centers, healthcare, industrial, and infrastructure customers.

Identify, qualify, and pursue opportunities for:

Switchgear modernization and retrofits

Breaker replacements and upgrades

Controls and protection upgrades

Generator, UPS, ATS, and paralleling gear service contracts

Arc flash mitigation and compliance upgrades

Establish long‑term service agreements and recurring revenue programs.

Partner with new equipment sales teams to grow services within the critical data center market

Serve as primary service sales contact for colocation, hyperscale, and enterprise data centers.

Advise customers on lifecycle risk mitigation, deferred maintenance impacts, modernization strategies aligned with uptime and redundancy requirements

Align service scopes with customer MOPs, EOPs, and change management processes.

Technical & Commercial Support

Collaborate with engineering, field service, project management, and operations teams to develop technically accurate proposals.

Translate field findings into actionable commercial opportunities.

Support scope development, pricing strategy, margin targets, and contract negotiations.

Ensure proposals align with internal safety, quality, and execution standards.

Internal Support & Collaboration

Act as primary interface between customers and internal engineering, field service, and operations.

Support service offering development and go‑to‑market initiatives.

Forecasting & Executive Reporting

Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, and pipeline management within CRM systems.

Provide regular reporting on bookings, revenue, margin, and customer activity.

Support annual planning and growth initiatives.

Required Qualifications Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.

7–10+ years of experience in: Electrical service sales, OEM or integrator service organizations, Mission‑critical or data center environments

Technical Expertise

Advanced understanding of:

Medium‑ and low‑voltage switchgear and protection

Modernization and retrofit methodologies

Generator, UPS, ATS, and paralleling systems

Strong working knowledge of:

NFPA, OSHA, IEEE, and NETA guidelines

Arc flash mitigation and electrical safety programs

Proven experience with legacy and third‑party equipment modernization.

Key Attributes

Ability to manage complex, high‑risk service scopes

High accountability for results and customer satisfactionAbility to lift 10‑20 lbs

Travel

40–60% regional travel
