Florida Sealcoating LLC is seeking an experienced Paving Estimator to manage project cost estimation, bidding, and financial oversight while ensuring successful project execution. This role requires in-depth knowledge of asphalt patching, paving, milling, sealcoating and striping with a strong understanding of materials, labor, and equipment costs specific to the asphalt industry.
The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in asphalt and paving operations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities: 3. Project Coordination & Communication: 4. Quality Control & Compliance: Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in asphalt patching and paving, sealcoating, and striping estimating.
Knowledge of asphalt paving techniques, materials, equipment, and industry standards.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and DOT specifications.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and build client relationships.
Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Work Location & Travel Requirements:
Work is in-person at our Sanford, FL office.
Travel to job sites for assessments, client meetings, and crew check‑ins is required.
