Role Overview ID.me is seeking a high-performing Account Executive or Sr. Account Executive to drive growth within the healthcare sector, including health systems, hospitals, payers, and public healthcare agencies.
This role will be responsible for owning and executing a strategic sales plan to expand ID.me’s footprint across healthcare organizations. The ideal candidate has experience navigating complex healthcare enterprises, selling to IT and security leaders, and driving new business acquisition in regulated environments.
This is a high-impact role suited for a driven, entrepreneurial individual who thrives in high-growth environments and is excited to help shape the future of healthcare.
Preferred locations:
New York City, DC Metro Area, Nashville, or Austin (with travel to customer meetings and events)
Responsibilities
Manage and execute end-to-end enterprise sales cycles with health systems, hospitals, payers, and public healthcare agencies
Develop and drive territory and account strategies to generate pipeline and close new business
Engage CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, CMIOs, digital transformation leaders, and IT stakeholders to position ID.me’s identity and access management solutions
Partner with Sales Development Representatives to build and maintain a strong, predictable pipeline
Collaborate with Customer Success or Account Managers to implementation, go-live, value realization, and long-term impact within customers and partners
Build strategic, executive-level relationships
Work with ID.me Channels and Alliances team to identify and develop any channels or partnerships needed to drive customer impact
Contribute to ID.me’s broader healthcare strategy through market feedback and strategic insights
Ideal Qualifications
5+ years (Account Executive) or 8+ years (Senior Account Executive) of experience selling enterprise SaaS or technology solutions into healthcare organizations
Demonstrated success selling to IT leaders within health systems and hospitals (CIO, CTO, CISO, VP IT, Digital Transformation leadership)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
Experience leveraging AI tools to drive activities efficiently
Experience working in or selling identity and access management (IAM), cybersecurity, authentication, or fraud prevention solutions
Strong understanding of healthcare IT environments, including EMR ecosystems (e.g. Epic, Oracle, eCW, Meditech), patient portals, digital front doors, and interoperability initiatives
Familiarity with federal and state healthcare programs and regulatory frameworks impacting identity, privacy, and access
Experience working in high-growth or venture-backed technology companies
Ability to navigate regulated markets and complex procurement processes
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership, initiative, and resilience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage executive audiences
The annual base salary listed does not include a company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity and benefits which will be determined based on experience, skills, education, relevant training, geographic location and role.
