We are partnering with our client, a well-established precision manufacturing company, to hire a

Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer . This organization designs and manufactures advanced tooling and precision components for high-performance industries including aerospace, defense, robotics, EV, and emerging technologies.

They are seeking someone with

both technical and sales experience

— ideally a professional who has worked in engineering, machining, tooling, or manufacturing and later transitioned into a customer-facing sales role. This is a

relationship-focused position

centered around managing accounts, providing technical guidance, and supporting customers throughout the lifecycle of complex manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow relationships with key customers across industries such as aerospace, defense, robotics, EV, and advanced manufacturing

Identify opportunities for new tooling programs, machining projects, and engineering solutions within existing and new accounts

Prepare competitive quotations for tooling, machining, repairs, and manufacturing programs

Review technical drawings and specifications to understand customer requirements and support project discussions

Coordinate customer meetings, plant tours, and technical reviews

Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure successful project delivery

Provide customers with updates throughout the design, manufacturing, and production process

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required (Engineering or Manufacturing-related preferred)

Experience in both

technical and sales environments

Background in machining, tooling, manufacturing, or industrial engineering strongly preferred

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Customer-focused mindset with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
