Senior Corporate Tax Analyst

As a Corporate Tax Analyst Senior your goal is to support domestic and international tax compliance, tax provision and audit related activity including federal and state corporate income, sales and use, and property taxes. You will do this by: Leading the preparation of consolidated Federal tax return including preparation of separate company Federal returns Leading the preparation of state income, sales and use, and property tax returns/filings Assisting in preparing annual tax provisions Providing support on various tax audits to include assisting in preparation of responses to tax authorities, and possibly interface with book/tax differences for the quarterly and annual tax provisions Leading various tax planning projects to include assisting with the implementation of strategies that maximize savings on a defensible basis, and participating in the review of proposed business transactions to properly advise management of tax implications Providing support for financial statement reporting to include trial balance analysis, R&D credit, state apportionment and foreign E&P adjustments Analyzing data and makes recommendations to Tax Leadership to support various business units The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities. You are the kind of person who is/has: A desire to work in a generalist role Strong communication skills Well developed analytical skills Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field OR equivalent experience and education Minimum four years of public accounting or related tax field experience Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and other related accounting software Knowledge of SAP preferred Knowledge of tax preparation software, Vertex and CoreTax preferred Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a diverse group of people Well-developed experience with financial analysis CPA licensure preferred Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
