Your role and responsibilities As a Senior Adobe Target & AJO Practitioner, you be responsible for designing and delivering enterprise-scale personalization, experimentation, and journey orchestration solutions across digital channels.

You will operate at the intersection of marketing strategy, data architecture, and engineering execution, ensuring scalable, high-performing, and measurable customer experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

Designing and implementing advanced experimentation and personalization strategies using Adobe Target (A/B, Experience Targeting, Recommendations) and designing and building cross-channel journeys within Adobe Journey Optimizer.

Developing and deploying custom JavaScript solutions to support dynamic rendering, SPA environments, and complex DOM manipulation.

Designing and optimizing profile scripts, audience logic, and algorithmic recommendation placements.

Ensuring statistical rigor, sound experimental design, and performance optimization across implementations.

Designing and building AJO journeys, including trigger-based entry, re-entry logic, suppression, and exit criteria.

Configuring and managing decision policies, decision items, and offers to enable scalable decisioning frameworks.

Establishing personalization logic using attribute-based conditions and behavioral event triggers.

Conducting end-to-end QA, including simulation, preview validation, and deployment verification.

Aligning Target and AJO constructs to ensure coherent cross-platform decisioning and governance.

Collaborating with analytics stakeholders to ensure measurement integrity, attribution accuracy, and actionable reporting.

Establishing governance standards, reusable technical patterns, and QA frameworks.

Providing mentorship and technical guidance to practitioners and cross-functional partners.

Required technical and professional expertise

6+ years of hands-on Adobe Target implementation experience within enterprise environments.

2+ years of hands-on Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) experience.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS with demonstrated experience in complex front-end implementations.

Deep understanding of experimentation methodologies, statistical principles, and performance optimization techniques.

Demonstrated expertise in:

Profile attributes, event schema architecture, and audience qualification frameworks

Decision policies, decision items, and offer management within AJO

Cross-channel personalization architecture and enterprise identity strategies

Preferred technical and professional experience

Adobe Web SDK implementation and configuration

Adobe Launch (Tags) governance and deployment

Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) data modeling and schema design
