
Inside Sales Specialist -- Automotive Parts Manufacturer (35727)

A manufacturer of automotive parts is currently looking to fill an
Inside Sales Specialist
position to support their office located near the
Franklin, IN area . The main focus of this position will be to take care of one of their main local clients. The ideal candidate will have inside sales experience within the manufacturing industry. Any purchasing related experience is also a big plus.
No commission with this position but does include a bonus.
This is a full-time, direct hire position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.
Responsibilities
Act as a point of contact for local customers (order status, logistics tracking, questions & concerns, etc.)
Perform accurate data entry, receive and process purchase orders, update logistics information & sales activity in the company system
Work with Operations and Sales departments to ensure orders are processed accurately
Assist with product pricing and provide quotations to customers
Interface with other internal departments and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery
Minimal local travel
Requirements
Degree in a business-related field OR equivalent work experience
Prior work experience with inside sales and/or purchasing - preferably in a manufacturing environment
Computer skills and experience (Microsoft Office applications)
Good communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environment
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
