Role Description Kitchen Guard of Metro Detroit is hiring a Junior B2B Sales Rep!
We’re looking for a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented person who enjoys meeting people and helping local restaurants keep their kitchens fire-safe. This role involves visiting restaurants and commercial kitchens across Metro Detroit, building relationships with owners and managers, helping schedule inspections and services and climbing a ladder to check roof top fan systems (so you’ve got to be comfortable with heights!). If you’re organized, personable, good with follow-through, and like the idea of being out in the field instead of stuck behind a desk, this could be a great fit. Sales experience is helpful but not required—we’ll train the right person. Join

Qualifications
Sales and Business Development skills, including lead generation, client relationship building, and strong negotiation abilities
Analytical and Research skills to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
Customer Service and Communication skills with the ability to tailor communications for B2B audiences
Team Collaboration and Organizational skills, including working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Proficiency in CRM tools and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and take accountability for achieving sales targets
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred
Previous experience in fire and life safety services or defense industry sales is a plus
Willingness to travel locally as required to meet with clients
