About The Role As
Schlam
continues to grow globally, we're seeking a Regional Sales Manager - Mexico to spearhead our business development and sales strategy in this critical market. This role is based in Tucson, Arizona, and will support sales activities and customer engagement across Mexico. Regular travel to mine sites throughout Mexico will be required.
An exciting opportunity to build a new region from the ground up, backed by a global brand known for innovation, reliability and performance. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of one of Australia's most forward-thinking mining equipment companies as we strengthen our presence across North and South America.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead business development and sales activities across Mexico to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Build and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with
Schlam Americas ' growth objectives.
Develop a strong sales pipeline by identifying, pursuing, and securing opportunities within surface and open-pit mining sectors.
Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and supply chain teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes.
Maintain strong relationships through regular site visits, feedback loops and technical support.
Manage and forecast sales performance, ensuring accurate CRM reporting and seamless production planning.
Champion
Schlam 's brand presence across Mexico through client engagement, events and digital initiatives.
About You You're an entrepreneurial, self-driven professional who thrives on building markets from the ground up. You combine technical insight with commercial acumen and have the confidence to drive high-value conversations with senior mining leaders.
Essential
Proven experience in sales and business development within heavy capital equipment or mining sectors.
Strong knowledge of surface/open-pit mining operations and
HME (Heavy Mobile Equipment) .
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing new customer bases.
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
Willingness to travel to mine sites across Mexico (up to 50% of your working time).
Desirable
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering (MBA preferred).
Experience working with OEMs such as CAT, Komatsu, or other mining equipment providers.
Exposure to application engineering, welding services, or capital equipment assembly.
