Overview
Position: Exciting opportunity to work with an international technology start-up. You’ll be part of a fast-growing international semiconductor company focused on ultra-high-speed optical solutions for next-generation data centers and AI infrastructure. We are seeking a high-caliber Technical Sales professional to drive growth across South Asia and Greater China, working closely with customers, distribution partners, and internal engineering teams. Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include selling the company’s products to existing and emerging component and/or system Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers. This position will also be responsible for managing and supporting distribution efforts in assigned regions/territories (both sales and technical). The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following behavioral traits
Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent negotiator Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently as well as within a dynamic team environment Robust multi-tasking ability Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Minimum 5 year’s experience of direct B2B sales experience in the communications, semiconductor or optical networking industry. (7+ years preferred) Solid understanding of the high-speed communications industry, including intimate knowledge of the value chain from component suppliers to service providers Proven track record of selling high-speed physical layer components within the optical networking industry in Asia Proven ability to build and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth. Demonstrated succuss in deal negotiation and closing, including pricing, purchasing order and long term engagement. Solid track record or winning designs and executing to set goals/targets Experience interfacing with, setting goals for, and managing distribution partners and/or reps Frequent travel across South Asia and Greater China. Track-record of developing and building as customer management relationships Fluency in English required : proficiency in additional Asian language is a strong advantage. Benefits
