The Emerging Markets Equity team is looking to add an Executive Assistant to support three senior investment professionals based in New York and their direct teams as needed. In addition to primary coverage responsibilities, this role will include collaboration with the other assistants across the platform to support broader business needs and day‑to‑day operations. Primary responsibilities include scheduling and maintaining calendars, expense management, travel arrangements (including international travel and visas) and preparing presentations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule and maintain business calendars. This involves coordinating times, corresponding with internal/external participants, scheduling meeting rooms, addressing technology needs and handling catering arrangements as needed.

Demonstrate excellent judgement in communication with internal and external clients, responding to requests, and re‑prioritizing calls and meetings as needed.

Make domestic/international travel arrangements, including developing detailed agendas, managing any visa requirements and addressing other travel/logistics related requirements.

Prepare, submit, and monitor expense reports and vendor payments for investment team members.

Assist with preparation of PowerPoint presentations, including formatting, designing and pulling together slides from the team’s repository.

Source documents and data from firm systems as needed for team requests.

Typical in‑office presence of four days a week (Monday through Thursday), dependent on the team’s travel and meeting schedule.

Demonstrate discretion with sensitive information related to firm, team, and/or staff.

Manage other miscellaneous administrative tasks including technology requests, preparing copies and managing office supplies.

Requirements Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree

3 – 5 years relevant administrative support experience, preferably in the investment management industry.

Skills

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills

Ability to support multiple individuals and projects concurrently with strong prioritization skills

Ability to work independently, ask for guidance as needed, and take direction

Flexible attitude with willingness to learn about international financial markets and take on new projects

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with CoPilot and Concur expense system a plus.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $90,000 and $110,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long‑term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
