Job Description As a Digital Sales Planner, you will be responsible for building digital media plans and supporting the Sales team in managing the day‑to‑day agency/client relationships and the pre to post sales process in order to achieve company revenue goals. You will be a member of a highly motivated Digital Ad Sales team at NBCUniversal where account relationship building, and customer satisfaction are keys to a successful candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities

Team up with Account Director(s) and Account Managers on the Sales team to understand agency/client goals and objectives and brainstorm solutions

Work with all internal departments (Sales, Marketing, Planning Management, etc.) on the development of client RFPs in the pre‑sale process

Create media plans that meet client needs and maximize revenue for NBCUniversal

Work closely with Planning Managers to tactically drive company‑wide goals and improve operational sales process

Manage client relationships and deliver superior customer service

Liaise with Ad Ops to ensure campaigns go live as expected

Combine data analytics and client feedback to configure, operate, and optimize campaigns to meet client objectives

Communicate with internal teams across Planning, Inventory, Digital Billing Specialists [DBSs], and Ad Ops to ensure campaign performance and help coordinate any needed escalations or resolutions with sales/client

Ensure post‑campaign research studies are properly coordinated, where applicable

Coordinate with Account Directors on development of renewal strategies based on client/program insights

Qualifications

Four year degree (B.A.,B.S) or equivalent experience

1+ years of digital experience in media planning or client service role

2+ years of project media related projects

Desired Characteristics

Demonstrates project management skills

Digital media Industry experience preferred

Well‑organized and attention to detail

Strong computer skills, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment

Ad Serving software and tracking knowledge is a plus

Strong analytical and creative skills

A strong ability to perform independently and proactively while working in a team environment

High energy and teamwork mentality is a must

Additional Requirements Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in‑office requirements at any time.
