Sr. Media Strategist

What You Will Do This role is responsible for leading the development and planning of a comprehensive cross‑channel media strategy in collaboration with the VP, Media. The role oversees day‑to‑day media activity across digital and traditional channels, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives and applying data‑driven insights to optimize performance. Ownership responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on media effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvement, and making strategic adjustments to enhance outcomes. With leadership support, the Senior Media Strategist will manage relationships with third‑party media and digital agencies to ensure effective coordination and will support the execution of paid media initiatives. Responsibilities also include managing the media budget, confirming alignment between planned and actual spending, conducting competitive analysis, and staying informed about evolving media trends, technologies, and industry best practices. The role will lead long‑term media strategy and support daily operational execution, while completing any other job‑related duties needed to help drive our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization's Values.

What We Require

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Experience of more than five years in digital advertising, including management and optimization of social media, programmatic advertising, and paid search campaigns.

Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics, along with advertising platforms including Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, DV360, and The Trade Desk.

Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices, KPIs, ad operations, and related technologies, with experience in programmatic budgeting and digital media buying.

Strong analytical ability to interpret data, extract insights, and support media decisions.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Highly adaptable and capable of maintaining strong project ownership.

Working knowledge in traditional media, including TV, out‑of‑home, radio, and print, is also required.

Ideal Candidate Will Have

Expert knowledge of programmatic advertising across CTV, OLV, audio, DOOH, display, and native formats, using a variety of buying methodologies such as CPM, CPC, and CPA.

Strong expertise in search marketing across paid and organic channels, including keyword research, optimization, and Google Ads management.

Deep understanding of digital tracking, analytics enablement, and measurement frameworks for SEM, SEO, and AEO.

Experience developing and executing paid social media strategies across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Reddit.

Foundational knowledge of traditional media (e.g., TV, OOH, Radio, Print) and an understanding of how offline and digital channels work together within an integrated media approach.

Experience working at a media advertising agency or overseeing agency partnership as a lead of a media/marketing department.
