Job Summary Baby Trend, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated

Purchasing Agent

to support the daily operations of the procurement and supply chain team. This role is responsible for assisting with purchase order processing, order tracking, and maintaining vendor relationships.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills and must be

bilingual in English and Mandarin

to effectively communicate with international vendors and internal departments. This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop procurement and supply chain expertise within a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in

sourcing and evaluating suppliers

for materials, products, and services to ensure cost competitiveness and quality standards.

Prepare, issue, and maintain

purchase orders, requisitions, and vendor documentation

in accordance with company procurement policies.

Communicate with vendors to

request quotations, negotiate basic pricing, confirm order details, and track delivery schedules .

Support purchasing activities for

both domestic procurement and direct import orders .

Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers regarding

shipment status, lead times, and potential delays .

Maintain accurate

procurement records and vendor information

within internal systems and databases.

Assist in resolving

vendor-related issues , including order discrepancies, shortages, quality concerns, and billing inquiries.

Collaborate with internal teams to

monitor inventory levels and support reorder planning .

Assist with documentation and coordination related to

supplier compliance requirements .

Knowledge or experience with upholstered furniture and bedding supplier license registration and renewal

is a plus.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree

in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Bilingual required:

Fluent in

English and Mandarin (spoken and written) .

0–2 years of experience

in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or administrative support preferred.

Strong

organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Basic understanding of

vendor management and procurement processes.

Proficiency in

Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) ; experience with

ERP or purchasing systems

is a plus.

Ability to

manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

Basic knowledge of

purchasing procedures and supply chain operations.

Experience working with

international suppliers or multicultural business environments.

Strong

attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions

Office-based position with frequent communication with

suppliers, logistics partners, and internal departments.

Occasional

overtime may be required

to meet purchasing deadlines or support urgent procurement needs.
