Brand & Community Engagement Manager

Peartree, Mission, KS, United States

Full-Time | Reports to: Alexis Birner (Principal) We’re Growing

Pear Tree School is looking for a Brand & Community Engagement Manager to join our team. This is a new role created to deepen the relationships we build with prospective and current families and to share the Pear Tree story more widely. The Role

As our Brand & Community Engagement Manager, you’ll be the person families connect with first. You’ll guide prospective families through their journey of discovering Pear Tree, support current families in feeling heard and valued, and help us tell the stories that make our school special. You’ll also support the Principal by serving as a key point of contact for families and community partners, ensuring every interaction reflects the care and quality Pear Tree is known for. What You’ll Do

Be the welcoming first point of contact for families exploring Pear Tree—answering questions, sharing information, and helping them feel confident in their decision. Support families through the enrollment journey, preparing them for tours and conversations with our Principal. Gather and share parent stories, testimonials, and feedback that highlight what makes Pear Tree unique. Create engaging content—blog posts, social media, newsletters—that brings our educational philosophy to life for prospective and current families. Represent Pear Tree at open houses and community events. Build relationships with community partners to expand awareness of Pear Tree. Champion parent satisfaction by actively listening, gathering feedback, and advocating for continuous improvement. Who You Are

A natural relationship-builder who connects with people easily and creates trust. An initiative-taker who enjoys owning projects from start to finish. A clear, warm communicator—in writing and in person. Comfortable with digital tools and learning new platforms. Personally aligned with Pear Tree’s mission to empower students through progressive, hands-on learning. Why You’ll Love It

Meaningful work shaping how families experience Pear Tree. A supportive, mission-driven team that values your contributions. Competitive salary with dental, extended health, life insurance, and additional coverage through the Chamber’s Plan, plus company events, hot lunch program, and on-site parking. Generous time off: approximately 4 weeks of scheduled breaks, personal days, and paid sick leave. Interested?
