The Role

The Social Media Specialist and Content Creator is responsible for creating and executing visually compelling social media and digital content that supports True Homes’ brand, communities, events, and public relations efforts. This role leads the development of social graphics, short-form video, and on-brand content across owned and earned channels, ensuring consistent and engaging storytelling. The role balances creative execution with performance awareness, plans and delivers social content aligned with company priorities, collaborates with internal teams and media partners, and uses engagement insights to refine content direction. Responsibilities

Owns and manages all True Homes social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and emerging platforms as appropriate Develops and maintains a rolling 30–60 day social media content calendar aligned with company initiatives, community launches, and campaigns Creates and executes social content supporting brand storytelling, product features, culture, events, and promotions Designs and publishes social graphics, short-form videos, and templated assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite Leads the creation of visual, video, and design-forward content for all True Homes social media channels Designs on-brand social graphics, templates, and branded assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite Produces short-form video content (Reels, Stories, Shorts, etc.) to support campaigns, communities, events, and brand storytelling Supports public relations initiatives by creating and adapting visual, video, and social content for use across third-party media partnerships and local publications Manages vendor relations with Public Relations contacts and ensures timely delivery of content and assets Tracks and reports on social and digital performance metrics including engagement, reach, and campaign results Supports lead source tracking, performance insights, and post-campaign recaps Uses performance data to inform content strategy and future organic and paid campaign recommendations Maintains all aspects of the True Homes company website as needed Generates content that promotes the True Homes Culture, Product, and Brand Performs other duties as assigned or required Results / Accountability

Achieves True Homes audience growth milestones, targets, and goals by deadline Achieves True Homes targeted digital lead milestones, targets, and goals by deadline Provides weekly performance reports for True Homes digital leads and various True Homes traffic channels Maintains all aspects of the True Homes company website as needed Content generation that promotes the True Homes Culture, Product, and Brand Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or related field preferred 3+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or a related role Proven experience managing brand-level social media channels and content calendars Strong working knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, InDesign, etc.) Experience supporting events, digital campaigns, and performance reporting Comfortable balancing creative execution with data-driven decision making Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Excellent communication and collaboration skills General Requirements
