R2631Peetniks are passionate and authentic, learners and doers, committed to the pursuit of better.Peet’s Coffee is seeking an Associate Marketing Manager to support innovation within our Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) business. Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manager of Innovation, this role will help identify new opportunities, develop product concepts, and work cross-functionally to bring innovations to life from concept through launch. As Peet’s continues to invest in innovation and explore new formats, this role will help shape what’s next for the brand.We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious about emerging brands, energized by big thinking, and excited to turn consumer insights and trends into new product ideas.**Salary**

Emeryville, CA – Hybrid, 3 days onsite**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:****Spot What’s Next*** Monitor emerging trends, new brands, and competitive activity across coffee and adjacent categories.* Analyze category, syndicated, and consumer data to identify whitespace opportunities and inform innovation priorities.**Build New Product Ideas*** Translate opportunity spaces, consumer need states, and usage occasions into compelling product concepts.* Conduct qualitative and quantitative consumer research and concept testing to refine innovation ideas.* Work closely with R&D on product briefs, sensory targets, and product iteration as ideas move through development.* Gather inputs that inform business cases (consumer insights, competitive benchmarks, category data).**Bring Innovation to Life*** Help develop positioning and key claims for new innovations.* Partner with design teams to develop compelling packaging and shelf-stopping claims.* Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance to move innovation projects forward and help resolve challenges as ideas progress from development to launch.**QUALIFICATIONS:*** 2–4 years of experience in CPG marketing, innovation, brand management, or strategy.* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.* Curiosity about emerging brands, consumer trends, and innovation across categories.* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate consumer and category insights into ideas.* Ability to think creatively about new product opportunities and challenge current constraints.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Familiarity with syndicated data tools (Circana/IRI, Nielsen) is a plus.* Familiarity with consumer insights platforms (i.e. Suzy, Zappi) is a plus.This description outlines the role’s essential functions but may evolve with business needs.**What We Offer:**

The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the applicant’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education, certifications or licenses, other legitimate non-discriminatory business factors, and the geographic location of the role. In addition to base pay, individuals in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.**Additional Information**
