About The Role The Cloud Alliance Manager serves as Convertr's primary liaison with Microsoft, responsible for driving the marketplace sales motions, maximizing co‑sell and marketplace opportunities, and delivering measurable pipeline growth. This is a high‑impact, outward‑facing role that blends strategic relationship management, business development, and hands‑on GTM execution. You’ll sit at the intersection of Sales, Microsoft field teams, and Solutions Engineering— or‑chestrating co‑sell activity and ensuring joint opportunities move efficiently from identification through close. You’ll build this partnership motion from the ground up.

What You’ll Do Take ownership of Microsoft Azure

Build relationships with Azure partner, field, and industry teams

Map the ecosystem—Partner Development Managers, Enterprise Sales Managers, Account Executives

Run QBRs and strategic reviews with Microsoft leadership

Scale what's working

Turn early wins into a repeatable co‑sell motion with Microsoft sales teams

Build quarterly joint business plans—solution priorities, revenue targets, field alignment

Maximize partner funding, incentives, and co‑marketing programs

Drive Convertr's presence in Microsoft programs (Azure IP Co‑Sell, ISV Success, AI Cloud Partner Program)

Generate pipeline and close deals

Hit $2M+ in partner‑influenced pipeline within first year

Work with Convertr sales to identify accounts where Azure consumption unlocks budget

Run joint account planning—map opportunities, register ACRs, align on strategy

Deploy Solutions Engineers on high‑value joint deals

Use Marketplace to accelerate deal cycles and tap MACC budgets

Build the infrastructure

Own Azure Marketplace operations—listings, transactions, consumption tracking

Create the co‑sell playbook from scratch (processes, templates, enablement)

Maintain pipeline tracking and executive reporting (Partner Center, HubSpot/Salesforce)

Deliver regular updates to CRO on wins, pipeline, and partnership progress

Enable both sides

Train Convertr sellers on Microsoft co‑sell motions and how to leverage the partnership

Enable Microsoft sellers on Convertr's value prop and when to bring us in

Align internal teams (GTM, marketing, customer success) on Azure priorities

What You Bring

6‑8 years in cloud partnerships, alliances, or partner sales roles

Direct Microsoft Azure partnership experience with existing relationships in Azure Global or U.S. alliance teams

Deep knowledge of Azure GTM motions, partner programs (ISV Success, IP Co‑Sell), co‑sell processes (ACR), and Commercial Marketplace

Proven track record of building 0→1 partnership motions at B2B SaaS companies ($10‑50M ARR stage preferred)

Demonstrated ability to drive revenue, influence field sales, and exceed pipeline targets through alliances

Experience with CRM and PRM tools (HubSpot/Salesforce, Partner Center, Introw)

Skills And Attributes

Strong commercial acumen with ability to develop joint business plans and negotiate alliance terms

Excellent executive communication, presentation, and influencing skills

Strategic thinker with data‑driven mindset and ability to translate insights into actionable plans

Entrepreneurial, hands‑on approach—you can create playbooks and processes from scratch

Highly organized with bias toward execution, accountability, and measurable outcomes

High integrity, collaborative spirit, and ability to motivate cross‑functional teams

Nice to Have

MBA or equivalent business experience

Experience in data/AI/MarTech partnerships

Global Microsoft partner relationships (EMEA, APAC)

Prior start‑up or high‑growth SaaS experience
