North Star Community Services, an established provider of services for adults with disabilities, with over 50 years of experience, is seeking a program director to lead one or more programming initiatives. The chosen program director will lead creating vision and provide oversight of activities within the selected program. Primary responsibility will be to lead and direct activities at North Star Brain Injury and Adult Day Care locations, as well as of North Star's two community homes.

We are seeking talented individuals with experience in working with disabilities, non-profit administration or other similar leadership roles.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, Human Services, Special Education, or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Six years of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities, or a similar field, with 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong skills in team management, program planning, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office 365, and keyboarding skills
Meet requirements for background checks, including criminal records and abuse registry.
Valid driver's license, ability to be covered by agency insurance, and willingness to drive company vehicles.
Possess a reliable vehicle to fulfill responsibilities in the absence of an agency vehicle
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic electronic documentation systems
Applicants for this position will be required will have completed a criminal conviction history and dependent abuse registry check and reviewed prior to confirmation of an offer of employment.
