Majestic Resorts is seeking a highly skilled Photo and Video Editor with exceptional Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro expertise and the ability to edit with continual attention to brand alignment and visual consistency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expert-level command of layer adjustments, masking, and other traditional editing techniques, along with the creativity and technical ability to enhance images using AI tools, including realistic props when needed. This role also requires strong organizational skills, including the use of established file labeling, versioning, and uploading.
Responsibilities
Daily, detailed photo editing and retouching using Photoshop, with a focus on precise layer adjustments, masking, and non-destructive workflows
Ensure visual consistency across all photo and video content in accordance with brand standards and creative direction
Optimize photo and video assets for web, mobile, print, and social platforms — balancing quality, resolution, and file size for best performance
Use AI-based tools to enhance images and add realistic props or environmental elements as needed
Edit and assemble b-roll video footage or stills into high-quality, polished deliverables for promotional, internal, and digital media use
Apply color correction, compression, and formatting tailored to specific platforms
Utilize established file naming conventions, version control, and labeling processes when uploading and organizing files in Filecamp
Collaborate with brand leadership teams to maintain cohesive visual standards across all projects
Stay current on advancements in photo/video editing AI technologies and tools
Edit assets aligned with short-term and long-term company goals
Ensure compliance with law when editing (i.e. copyright and data protection)
Consider multi-market flexibility and future-state goals, ultimately providing varied solutions as needed
Be accountable for the accuracy of the product in deliverables online and in print
Own projects through completion and continually maintain responsibility to complete work in a timely manner
Take constructive criticism and apply to all work that follows
Additional job-related responsibilities
Education Degree or certification in Digital Arts & Media, Film Production, Photography, or a similar field
Experience
Proven work experience as a photo and video editor
Language(s)
English
Spanish (Not required, but a plus)
Required skills
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, particularly with Layer Adjustments, Masks, and non-destructive editing, including labeling of layers
Experience using AI-powered editing tools (Generative Fill, Topaz AI, etc.)
Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and/or DaVinci Resolve)
Strong understanding of dimensions, file types, and resolution, and how they apply to quality print and digital output
Understanding of file formats, export settings, and delivery specs for web, mobile, and social media
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
Familiarity with Filecamp or similar digital asset management systems
Adaptable and able to pick up new techniques and technology
Strong communication skills
Ability to work on their own or in a team environment
Initiative to manage all work through to completion

Experience in commercial, fashion, hospitality, or portrait editing
Strong understanding of color grading for both photo and video
Working knowledge of animation or motion graphics tools, including AfterEffects and Animate
Portfolio Requirements Solid photo and video editing portfolio demonstrating consistent color and lighting, high-quality retouching skills (before-and-after examples), and effective optimization techniques.
