
Community Marketing Event Representative

We are seeking energetic, outgoing
Event Representatives
to represent our brand at community events throughout Connecticut. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy engaging with people, working in fast-paced environments, and driving sales through live product demonstrations. This position is currently weekends only, with the potential to go full time.
Event Representatives are responsible for promoting our products, interacting with customers, and generating new subscriptions or sales at festivals, farmers markets, school events, and community gatherings. This is a customer-facing role that requires enthusiasm, professionalism, and the ability to confidently communicate our brand story.
Key Responsibilities Brand Representation
Represent the company at community events, festivals, fairs, farmers markets, and local gatherings
Set up and maintain a clean, professional event booth or display
Act as a brand ambassador and positively represent company values
Sales & Customer Engagement
Conduct product demonstrations and educate customers about our products and services
Engage with event attendees to generate interest and drive sign-ups or sales
Confidently answer questions and overcome objections
Accurately track leads and completed sales
Event Support
Assist with booth setup, breakdown, and event logistics
Ensure promotional materials and displays are presented professionally
Follow company standards for event presentation and customer interaction
Team Collaboration
Work alongside event team members and follow direction from the event lead
Share feedback and insights from events to help improve future performance
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable speaking with new people and working in public settings
Sales or customer service experience preferred
Ability to work weekends and occasional evenings
Reliable transportation to travel to event locations
Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with light event setup
Preferred Experience
Brand ambassador or promotional event experience
Retail or direct sales experience
Community outreach or fundraising experience
Compensation:
Hourly rate of $20 per hour
Uncapped commission
