Senior Acquisition Consultant
The Prospective Group (TPG) is seeking a Senior Acquisition Consultant to serve within the U.S. Department of State. Position responsibilities include: Providing acquisition management support services for complex federal government procurements. Managing strategic planning for acquisitions. Supporting development of acquisition documents including statements of work, market research, cost/price estimates, source selection plans, and acquisition plans. Offering expert level technical knowledge for developing technical factors and providing support with technical and quote analysis. Participating in and providing briefings and presentations about the acquisition process to senior management. Position requirements include: Minimum of fifteen years of experience with federal government acquisition management activities. Must have a minimum of five years' direct experience in federal government acquisition management activities or asset management requirements. Possess leadership, technical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills, and a proven ability to work in a dynamic environment. Work history should demonstrate an ability to coordinate and communicate effectively within large organizations. Excellent customer service skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong analytic skills. Strong understanding and mastery of federal government acquisition process with understanding of all aspects of acquisition from pre-award, award, post-award, and contract management.
