Role Description We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Specialist who has a passion for mental health as a charitable cause. This role sits within the Foundation's Awareness Team and supports a variety of marketing and communications activities that advance fundraising and awareness initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a collaborative spirit, and an enthusiasm for storytelling in service of a meaningful mission.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing and communications plans for external audiences
Maintain an organizational editorial calendar for all marketing and communications campaigns, projects, and events
Coordinate project deadlines across all Awareness Team work
Maintain an inventory of marketing collateral for the Philanthropy team to use in reaching out to donors
Assist in sourcing and telling stories that highlight the charitable need of mental health
Assist with planning and logistics for Foundation events and public engagements (printing, shipping, etc.)
Provide administrative support for communication operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive awareness and engagement for campaigns
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, OR two years of work experience in marketing or communications
Basic knowledge of graphic design and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Canva)
Demonstrated experience in copywriting and basic graphic design
Ability to organize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with project management tools, particularly Asana; familiarity with Trello, Microsoft Planner, or similar platforms is also a plus
Familiarity with marketing analytics, specifically Google Analytics
Knowledge of digital advertising tools and platforms
Experience or genuine interest in mental health, nonprofit organizations, or charitable work
