Senior Content Designer, Language Systems, Human Interface Design

General Motors is seeking a **Senior Content Designer, Language Systems**to establish and scale the standards, tools, and processes that support consistent, high-quality content across HID. You will set communication standards, establish frameworks and processes, and lead the creation and implementation of a governance model that promotes quality content across experiences. **Responsibilities** Strong technical proficiency in Figma, components, plugins, and variables.Strong sense of ownership and ability to create structure in ambiguous environments.Experience shaping governance models, playbooks, or tool strategies for content systems. High comfort level with technical concepts; ability to understand engineering and product terminology quickly. Experience with content quality or AI‐enabled tools (Ditto, Acrolinx, and Markup AI strongly preferred)Experience developing standards and governance documentation.Experience with multi‐modal or non-traditional interfaces (vehicle, voice, embedded systems). Familiarity with content operations and large‐scale documentation systems.The salary range for this role is ($105,600 -$140,700). The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
