Functional Consultant
for a
Contract
with a client in
Plano, TX.
This role requires strong experience interpreting complex business requirements to map processes, resolve system issues, and deliver functional documentation.
Rate Range:
$53/hour to $56/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Functional Consultant Job Responsibilities Include
Facilitate implementation, cutover, and post–go‑live support activities for the designated process area, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal business disruption.
Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements; identify, interpret, validate, and document Terumo business/user needs and translate them into system solutions.
Map business requirements to SAP processes (and required product modifications), identify gaps and issues, and design workable workarounds with clear impact analysis.
Act as liaison between business users/SMEs and technical teams (FAs, BAs, partner teams) to troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve software problems—including emergency/high‑priority transports.
Produce and maintain functional deliverables—functional designs, test cases, and test results—using tools such as JIRA and qTest; provide ad‑hoc training and user support.
Proactively propose process/system enhancements across workstreams, driving cross‑functional alignment and ensuring compliance with documentation and governance standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical/business discipline.
6–8 years of hands‑on SAP functional experience, including process analysis, implementation, and cross‑functional coordination.
Strong expertise in SAP MOM / MyMediset, with the ability to map business requirements, identify gaps, troubleshoot issues, and support cutover activities.
Proven experience working with business users, SMEs, FAs, and BAs to deliver functional designs, manage high‑priority transports, and document test cases/results in tools like JIRA and qTest.

Pay Details $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
