Your Mission The main mission consists of implementation and rolling‑out applications in the various Puratos companies around the world in the domain of R&D and Quality. The Senior Domain Specialist will also identify, promote and coach improvement projects to improve the performance of the entire Puratos Group.
What you will do The Senior Domain Specialist will be an expert in his/her functional domain and will be responsible for implementing projects in R&D and Quality domain. This functional specialist combines a strong functional background with technical acumen and a passion for operational excellence. This function will play a key role in supporting our digital transformation of the R&D function and implementing solutions that enhance performance and efficiency.
Roll‑out of HQ chosen applications in Puratos subsidiaries
Analyze existing processes of the company
Build partnership with the local management team to handle the organizational impact resulting from the implementation
Propose and facilitate organizational changes if appropriate and needed
Act as template keeper during projects: protect and enforce the template and contribute to template development based on gained experience in roll‑out projects
Help key users migrate the old data to the new system
Ensure common rules and data are respected, meaning template processes are followed
SPOC for the Key Users during the projects; gathering feedback and providing innovative insights. Initiating development proposals, and new solutions to gaps
Implement the application localizations applicable in the region/country
Transfer to the Key users the necessary knowledge to use the application in a correct manner
Help the Key users to test the system and to realize system acceptance
Assist the Key users with writing the necessary documentation
Implement the necessary reporting during each project based on the available data sets
Implement and monitor the authorizations in the system so that sensitive and critical data/processes are protected.
Coach more junior Domain Specialist
Keep the project manager(s) informed about project progress and issues
Accomplish the transition to support after go‑live of a roll‑out
Manage medium‑size to large projects
Support the Digital Architect in functional analysis work (Proof of Concepts)
Within subdomain/competence, support from a functional point of view the applications installed by HQ
Perform SAP 3rd line support when needed, in collaboration with the Global Support Team
Write functional specifications for new approved Change Requests
Optimize the system used in subsidiaries running the HQ chosen application and help the subsidiaries to use the application in a more efficient way
Analyze and identify improvement & best practice areas within the organization
Build key user communities to share best practices, to increase user adoption and to facilitate knowledge capturing and sharing with the users
Organize post implementation reviews and training sessions
Implement additional functionalities (optimization and retrofitting)
Position Requirements
In depth knowledge in the SAP PLM and QM domain preferably on SAP S/4.
Experience in product lifecycle management in the process industries:
Recipe based production
Regulatory/Product Safety
Traceability analysis
Systems Integration Experience (API etc)
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
SAP S/4HANA ( integrated modules like PE/WM, BOMs, materials etc )
LIMS
Automation (RPA and/or Agentic AI)
Low code (Outsystems)
BI (PowerBI)
Several years of experience in multiple proven project life cycles
Application development experience is a plus
Team spirit and team work - Initiative
Good communication and training skills
Flexible and stress resistant
Broad view and spirit of synthesis
Open mindset with emphasis on knowledge sharing
Willingness to travel: 10%
Fluent in English (spoken and written), additional languages are an asset
7+ years of ICT experience
