Your Purpose As a Retail Specialist, you will support Brightline’s Merchandise & Retail operations by executing merchandising programs, maintaining retail standards, supporting inventory accuracy, and assisting with performance tracking across stations and onboard environments. This role is execution-focused and operationally driven, ensuring products are properly displayed, priced accurately, stocked appropriately, and aligned with brand and Guest Experience standards through out the Florida corridor .

Your Role [ Essential Functions ]
Execute established retail merchandising standards, including planograms and display specifications.
Support implementation of new product launches, seasonal resets, and promotional campaigns.
Conduct routine retail walkthroughs to ensure pricing accuracy and visual standards compliance.
Ensure POS signage and labeling are accurate and aligned with marketing direction.
Assist with inventory monitoring and coordination to reduce shrinkage and out‑of‑stocks.
Support data collection related to merchandise sales and inventory turns.
Assist in the identification of cost savings and process improvement opportunities.
Coordinate and execute procurement processes, including vendor setup, purchase order creation, processing, and approval when appropriate.
Assist with vendor coordination activities as directed.
Operational Partnership & Issue Resolution
Partner with Station and Onboard leaders to identify merchandising opportunities and operational gaps.
Escalate operational concerns or guest‑impacting retail challenges to leadership.
Monitor and review all Brightline communication channels, including our company intranet, bConnected, during work hours to ensure all company and department communications and notifications are promptly reviewed.
Training & Product Knowledge Support
Support product knowledge reinforcement efforts for frontline teammates.

Experience & Qualifications Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
2 + years of proven experience in retail operations and/or merchandising in hospitality environment
Hands‑on experience supporting merchandising execution or inventory initiatives.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of retail merchandising standards, including planograms, visual displays, and pricing accuracy requirements.
Understanding of product launch execution, seasonal resets, and promotional campaign implementation.
Working knowledge of point‑of‑sale systems and retail practices.
Strong attention to detail and consistency in executing standards.
Basic understanding of pricing, margin, and retail performance indicators.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with experience in sale platforms.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a 24/7 operational environment.
Guest‑focused mindset with strong service orientation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with vendors and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
Familiarity of the procurement processes, and vendor management.
Data collection and basic analysis skills related to sales and inventory reporting.
Training support skills to reinforce product knowledge with frontline teammates.
Ability to identify operational gaps and merchandising opportunities through observation and analysis.
Work Environment Works remotely in a clean office space, free of excessive noise, dust, and humidity. Frequent travel to and from businesses.
Physical Demands Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. This position is very active and the employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl all day. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. No specific vision requirements.
Objects weighing 70 pounds or more must be accompanied by a second individual to avoid injury.
