About Torchy’s
The Torchy’s legacy began in Austin, Texas in 2006 with an idea, a dedicated executive chef and a food trailer. Today, Torchy’s Tacos operates across the country, all with the determination to deliver on our “Damn Good” food promise. Here’s What We Need
We’re looking for a
Senior Graphic Designer
with strong design chops and motion capability to help bring our restaurant brand to life across digital, in-store, social, and campaign channels. This role is for someone who can concept, design, and execute
bold, brand-forward creative
— from static layouts to animated assets — without losing sight of speed, consistency, or craft. You’ll work closely with the Creative Director, marketing partners, and production team to turn ideas into scroll-stopping, appetite-inducing work. If you love food brands, move fast without cutting corners, and think motion should feel intentional—not tacked on—you’ll feel right at home. What You’ll Be Doing
Design & Execution
— Concept to Completion: develop designs from initial concept through final execution, delivering high-quality results efficiently and on time. Static Creative
— Design high-impact static creative across digital, social, in-restaurant, out-of-home, print, packaging, and campaign assets. Motion Graphics
— Create motion graphics and light animation for social, digital ads, menu boards, in-store screens, and brand moments. Brand Translation
— Translate brand guidelines into consistent, elevated creative while knowing when and how to push them appropriately. Format Adaptation
— Adapt creative for multiple formats, platforms, and aspect ratios quickly and accurately. Trend Awareness
— Maintain a pulse on cultural, design, and industry trends, translating emerging ideas into on-brand creative that keeps the brand current and distinctive. Motion & Video Support
Animation
— Animate typography, logos, layouts, and graphics for campaigns and evergreen content. Video Collaboration
— Partner with video editors and producers to support motion needs such as overlays, end cards, transitions, and cut-downs. Motion Storytelling
— Bring still designs to life through motion that enhances storytelling and clarity. Collaboration & Workflow
Cross-Functional Partnership
— Work with marketing, culinary, operations, and field teams. Creative Direction & Feedback
— Take creative direction and feedback well and know how to ask smart questions. Project Management
— Manage multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Organization
— Maintain organized working files and handoffs for production and versioning. Additional Responsibilities
— Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and the brand’s creative needs. How You’ll Do It
Attention to Detail
— Catch inconsistencies in design, type, and brand application before work goes out the door. Adaptability
— Shift between projects, feedback, and priorities without losing momentum or quality. Collaboration
— Work effectively with teammates across departments to bring creative ideas to life. Time Management
— Juggle multiple projects with varied deadlines while keeping work on track. Creative Curiosity
— Stay inspired by trends and new ideas, and channel that into work that feels unmistakably Torchy’s. Minimum & Preferred Qualifications
