Kit Packer

The Kit Packer is responsible for packaging and releasing kits. This role involves working directly from work orders, using a scanner to verify items, and picking and boxing items with a cart. Responsibilities include setting up kits, inspecting finished products, printing labels, labeling and capping products, breaking down expired kits, and participating in annual cycle counts. Additionally, you will document work on spreadsheets and navigate databases to check inventory levels. Responsibilities

Package and release kits following work orders. Use a scanner to verify items being pulled. Pick and box items using a cart around the facility. Set up kits and inspect finished products. Print and apply labels to products. Label and cap products as necessary. Break down expired kits. Participate in annual cycle counts. Document work on spreadsheets. Use a computer to navigate databases for inventory checking. Essential Skills

1+ year of order selection/inventory experience. Experience with mobile RF scanning equipment. Inventory cycle counting. Strong attention to detail and accurate part counting. Ability to communicate well in written and verbal form. Ability to accurately document finished work. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in pick, pack, material handling, medical, kitting, inspection of finished goods, and labeling. Knowledge of assembly, production, hand tools, general labor, packaging, inspection, inventory, kitting, picking, and packing. Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean medical manufacturing setting with well-lit and comfortable temperatures. Occasionally, products are stored in freezers similar to those in a garage, with one larger walk-in freezer requiring brief access. Gloves are provided for handling cold items. The facility resembles a college campus, featuring large break rooms, ping pong areas, and workout rooms. The position is for a 2nd shift/Mid Shift, Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6:30 pm. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
