Member Service Representative
opportunity with an established Credit Union for their branch location in Brandon.
The
Member Service Representative
is responsible for below specific duties.
Your specific duties will include: Serve as the primary liaison between members and the Credit Union, providing courteous, professional, and efficient service. Assist members with daily banking needs, including providing account information and guidance on Credit Union products and services. Process routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with accuracy. Open and service member accounts, including checking/savings accounts, Certificates of Deposit (CDs), and IRAs. Prepare and process required documentation for new accounts, account maintenance, and related services. Accept and process loan applications and assist members with loan-related requests. Handle member requests such as stop payments, ATM/debit card orders, temporary checks, check orders, and line-of-credit advances. Research and resolve member account questions or discrepancies related to transactions, fees, overdrafts, and account activity. Cross-sell and promote Credit Union products and services to meet member financial needs. Required qualifications for the position include:
1-2 years of experience working in a Credit Union or Banking environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial transactions. Preferred qualifications for the position include:
Teller or Cash handling experience. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
