Responsibilities and practice

Dentons US LLP is seeking a high-performing senior associate to join our sophisticated and highly-regarded Real Estate practice. Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials and at least 6 years of commercial real estate experience, including commercial real estate finance experience. The associate selected for this position will work closely with partners and clients on a wide spectrum of real estate transactions and projects, gaining hands-on responsibility while collaborating with colleagues throughout the Firm. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Representing lenders, investors, developers, owners and other clients in connection with the acquisition, disposition, development, financing, and leasing of real property across all major asset classes, including office, retail, industrial, multifamily, and mixed-use projects Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, development agreements, and other real estate-related contracts Coordinating and closing real estate transactions, including title and survey review, due diligence, zoning and land-use analysis, and entity formation Advising on construction, development, and joint venture arrangements, as well as assisting clients with day-to-day operational and asset management issues Mentoring junior associates, overseeing work streams, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of client deliverables Dentons offers a collegial, entrepreneurial environment where associates develop deep local and national client relationships. Based on years of experience, Dentons US LLP associates may have a title of Associate, Managing Associate, or Senior Managing Associate. Minimum of 6 years of sophisticated real estate practice experience is required Commercial real estate finance experience is required Experience representing clients in any combination of acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, and development matters is required Lender-side financing is preferred Previous law firm experience is required Other requirements

Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia and be in good standing Submission of a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and deal sheet detailing real estate finance experience Equal opportunities
