Position Overview The Altoz District Sales Manager is responsible for promoting and selling Altoz outdoor power equipment, parts, and accessories through our established and growing dealer network. This role includes managing dealers within the assigned territory, expanding distribution, and maintaining effective, productive relationships with dealers and customers.

Success in this role requires a proven track record of developing and growing independent dealer networks, strong sales motivation, the ability to influence dealer performance, and a willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Sell Altoz products and grow the dealer distribution network

Implement sales plans and motivate dealers to sell Altoz products

Build and maintain positive and profitable business relationships with dealers and customers

Visit dealerships providing training, support, direction, and leadership

Assist in developing effective dealer programs to achieve company growth objectives

Serve as a business consultant to Altoz Dealers; developing and providing solutions and ideas to increase sales

Train and assist dealers regarding products, features, and benefits.

Train and assist dealers regarding ordering procedures, sales programs, inventory planning, and sales and marketing strategy

Demonstrate power equipment usage to dealers and end users while promoting safe operation

Attend shows and events promoting the Altoz brand and products

Complete administrative tasks accurately and timely including activity reports, expense reports, and CRM updates

Stay current with product and industry trends including competitor offerings, programs, and promotions

Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules including weekends and evenings as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Minimum/Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or a related field or relevant work experience

Proven success in managing an independent dealer network within a designated territory

Proven track record of driving Sales results

Thorough knowledge of Altoz products, competitor products, and market territory

Results driven, self-confident with the ability to make decisions and solve problems

Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and customer service skills

Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Remain composed during stressful situations and always display a professional demeanor at all times

Computer literacy, MSOffice experience and able to learn internal software systems

Knowledge of sales processes

Willing to allocate 80% of time travelling including weekends and evenings

Valid driver’s license, no major driving violations and current health card

Physical Requirements

Capable of lifting up to 55 lbs, loading/unloading trailers, and operating outdoor power equipment

May spend parts of the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen

May include standing, sitting, squatting, lifting, walking, kneeling, stooping, crouching and reaching out to arm’s length, reaching overhead
