The Rare Disease Account Manager (RDAM) will focus on patients with Acute Intermittent Porphyria (AIP), Cystinosis and NAGS deficiency. The RDAM will manage promotional relationships and business results with healthcare providers and ancillary staff in an assigned geography, deploying sales strategies for approved products and growing sales volume and market share in compliance with Recordati Rare Diseases (RRD) standards. The RDAM will build sustainable relationships with key stakeholders, leveraging insights to facilitate access to the Recordati portfolio in hospitals and through collaboration with local healthcare professionals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain expert knowledge of AIP, Cystinosis and NAGS deficiency, RRD’s products, the competitive landscape, and market trends in the US. Develop and implement territory strategies and plans to build awareness and identify appropriate patients; adjust as needed to achieve revenue objectives. Achieve or exceed sales performance targets. Prioritize time and resources to ensure optimal visibility with healthcare providers and target customers. Manage budget to support sales and marketing activity. Represent Recordati Rare Diseases at industry events to position RRD as a committed partner with high ethical standards. Collaborate with internal colleagues to align on healthcare provider and patient needs. Stay up to date on therapeutic developments, products, and market trends in the US. Maintain accountability to RRD, FDA and OIG guidelines; comply with all laws, regulations and policies including pharmacovigilance responsibilities. Perform additional duties as assigned. Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; scientific degree or coursework is a plus. 5 to 9 years of proven sales success within Rare Diseases, Metabolic and/or biotechnology. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets. Experience with products managed under a specialty pharmacy model and supported by a patient services hub is preferred. Demonstrated account management and business acumen. Expertise in clinical disease-state knowledge and consultative sales. Cross-functional collaboration experience; small-company/start-up experience desirable. Experience operating within regulatory frameworks (FDA, OIG, PhRMA guidelines). Knowledge and Skills

Market awareness of dynamics, pricing, reimbursement, and market access challenges. Relationship building with ongoing value delivery. Strategic thinking, problem solving, and adaptability. Ethical and legal compliance; experience with regulatory requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Additional Information

This role may require travel by car and plane; a valid driver’s license and transportation are required. The role routinely uses standard office equipment and may involve meetings out of state, including weekends. Physical Demands

The role requires frequent standing, walking, using hands, talking and hearing; lifting up to 25 lbs occasionally. Travel by air may be required. Location

Annualized Pay Range (Base Pay): $148,000 - $203,500. Eligible for an annual performance bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, paid time off and other components. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience and location. Disclaimer
