Our Learning & Development team supports operational scale, risk reduction, and performance improvement by creating practical, high-quality learning experiences for team members at all levels.
The Instructional Designer partners with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and fellow learning professionals to design and develop effective training programs that support operational roles across multiple verticals.
This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented instructional designer who enjoys translating real-world processes into engaging, instructionally sound learning experiences. You will contribute to instructor‑led training, eLearning, job aids, and operational refreshers while working within established design standards and project workflows.
Core Responsibilities
Partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to scope learning needs and requirements
Translate SOPs, workflows, and operational processes into effective learning assets
Design curriculum architecture that supports role‑based operational training
Develop engaging instructor‑led and self‑paced training
Create and maintain design documentation, storyboards, mockups, and supporting assets
Collaborate with multimedia specialists on graphics, video, and interactive media
Test, deploy, and maintain courses
Maintain and refresh content based on operational, seasonal, or policy changes
Collaborate with facilitators to support virtual and in‑person training delivery
Follow established SOPs and contribute to continuous improvement of team processes
Use project management tools to manage work, timelines, and priorities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Education, or a related field or 2+ years of equivalent professional experience
2+ years of experience designing training for onboarding, upskilling, or operational performance
Experience using a structured instructional design methodology (ADDIE preferred)
Experience designing both instructor‑led and self‑paced learning
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and build strong working relationships
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with eLearning and design tools such as: Articulate 360 / Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, Vyond, Lucidchart or similar diagramming tools
Experience working with LMS platforms and SCORM content
Working knowledge of UX/UI and accessibility best practices
Audio recording, narration, and basic editing skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience working in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment
