Overview
Kohler is seeking an experienced Marketing & Communications Project Manager – Sustainable Living to join the Sustainable Living Marketing & Communications team. This role will report to Manager – Marcomm – Sustainable Living and serves as a critical executional leader, responsible for project-managing complex marketing and communications initiatives that support sustainable product growth, sales enablement, and purpose-driven brand storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications Project Management: Lead end-to-end project management for marketing and communications initiatives, from intake through execution, delivery, and postlaunch optimization.
Manage timelines, scopes, budgets (where applicable), and cross-functional dependencies across sustainable living, marketing, sales, digital, PR, and agency partners.
Serve as a central point of coordination to ensure alignment, clarity, and accountability across stakeholders.
Annual Global Impact Report (GIR)
Support the planning and execution of the Annual Global Impact Report, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external creative partners.
Project manage key marketing and communications deliverables associated with the report, including:
Coordination of design, layout, and production timelines
Development and delivery of supporting marketing and communications assets
Manage and organize the creative and storytelling assets used to bring the Global Impact Report to life across internal and external channels.
Ensure Global Impact Report assets are optimized for reuse across toolkits, presentations, digital platforms, and ongoing Sustainable Living storytelling and selling.
Sales & Market Enablement Support
Project manage the development and rollout of purpose-driven content strategies supporting sustainable product sales and market growth.
Coordinate global and regional content toolkits for key moments including World Water Day, Earth Day, Global Handwashing Day, and World Toilet Day.
Support the execution of sustainable product content, including creative briefs, asset development, and distribution planning.
Manage ongoing updates and enhancements to KOHLER.com content, including:
Sustainable product storytelling
Product transparency and “Our Impact” content
Ecommerce content integrations and updates
Sustainable Living Marketing Enablement & Resource Stewardship
Own the ongoing upkeep, evolution, and optimization of Sustainable Living marketing and communications tools and resources to support the business in storytelling and selling.
Ensure key platforms and repositories are current, accessible, and aligned to business needs, including:
Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems
Digital Hub and Sustainable Living SharePoint resources
Maintain and enhance core storytelling and selling enablement resources, including:
Sustainable Living storytelling toolkits
Business Development newsletters
Internal and external communications resources
Partner cross-functionally to ensure Sustainable Living content is consistently integrated into sales, marketing, and communications workflows.
Manage quarterly metrics reporting and performance tracking in partnership with team members.
Manage ongoing maintenance and content updates across Kohler digital properties, including KohlerCompany.com and KOHLER.com.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement
Partner closely with Sustainable Living, Sales, Brand, Digital, PR, and Global Marketing teams to ensure consistent, high-quality execution.
Act as a key contributor and reviewer for marketing and communications materials across multiple channels.
Ensure all deliverables align with Kohler brand standards, messaging frameworks, and sustainable living narratives.
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
7+ years of experience in project management for marketing, communications, or integrated marketing roles
Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and workstreams
Strong understanding of marketing execution across digital, content, campaign, and enablement channels
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a matrixed or global organization
Familiarity with digital content platforms, DAM systems, and marketing collaboration tools
Background supporting purpose-driven, sustainability, or corporate impact communications
Experience partnering with agencies and external vendors

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation.
