Donor Relations and Support
Point person to handle donor inquiries, including follow-ups for portal access, reward assistance, and general donation support. Provide accurate information regarding donation eligibility, scheduling, and rewards programs. Ensure donor satisfaction through timely and professional communication. Donor Recruitment and Scheduling (as needed)
Utilize assigned donor lists to contact and recruit volunteer blood donors via phone, email, and in-person interactions. Educate donors on the donation process and answer questions with professionalism and empathy. Schedule donors for appropriate donation types and locations based on inventory needs. Record recruitment activities and donor interactions accurately within the donor database. Support tele-recruitment operations with clerical and administrative tasks. Achieve established recruitment goals and performance standards. Relationship Building
Cultivate and maintain relationships with both new and existing donors. Serve as a key liaison to ensure a positive and personalized donor experience. Engage with donors during donation visits, as appropriate, to strengthen ongoing relationships. Administrative and Operational Support
Maintain donor files and update records to ensure accuracy and relevance. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient daily workflow and communication. Assist with donor promotions, follow-ups, and recognition activities. PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical Requirements
Tasks may involve extended periods of sitting, typing, and phone communication. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally. Frequent standing, walking, or reaching during donor engagement activities. Environmental Requirements
Work is primarily performed in an office or donor center environment with moderate noise level. Occasional travel between locations may be required. LEGAL AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS
Maintain compliance with Florida labor and workplace safety laws. Adhere to SunCoast Blood Centers’ confidentiality, privacy, and data protection standards.
